Theresa and Shar's special day

The Proposal

Shar and I had come up to Wellington for the weekend and travelled into town to catch up with a friend, then afterwards Shar insisted that she take me out for dinner. We had a lovely meal and started strolling back along the waterfront towards the train station. You can’t beat Wellington on a good day, and that evening was a real keeper. It was a beautiful, calm, starry night, and Shar stopped me on the waterfront, knelt down in front of me, and with an enormous smile on her face she asked me to do her the honour of marrying her.

The most memorable moment, for me, was walking down the stairs in the homestead and seeing Shar in her sari for the first time.
