With so much information bombarding the bride one of the first questions we often ask is what type of fabric you are drawn to.  So lets define them so you can give it some thought.

MIKADO SATIN A textured satin that has a visible weave. This is a highly structured fabric so gives you a smooth outline.  It is used for gowns with simple structures and clean silhouettes Roan

Applique LACE The majority of lace wedding gowns are made with lace appliques applied to a tulle background.  So the individual lace pieces are created and then applied.  The allows the designer to the place the lace in the best position for emphasizing the waist or elongating the body or whatever the goal is for the particular gown.
