When thinking about the gown that you want to wear on your wedding one consideration is the length of the train.
There are various options
This is a train that get attached to the gown and can then be detached after being walked down the aisle.
Sweep or Brush.
A small train that just dusts the ground. Perfect for a lightweight gown being worn by a minimalist bride.
A train with a little bit more to it. Easy to bustle after the ceremony for dancing and moving around.
This train flows from the top of the gown and is usually in a different fabric. If the gown has sleeves then it will flow from the shoulders
A small train that comes from the waist. Makes the skirt of the gown fuller. This is the smallest of the three formal train sizes.
Half way between a court and cathedral. Creates presence without being hugely cumbersome.
The most formal of trains. Called cathedral as it is designed to fill the area of a large space. They can be a challenge to manage on the day but look amazing.
