Anna's vintage chic wedding

Anna married Ryan in a vintage inspired wedding that Anna described as magical!

We asked Anna what advice she would give to brieds planning their wedding - "to relax and enjoy every moment of your special day."

We asked Anna to tell us about her magical day!

Why did you choose your dress? I had always wanted a backless satin slip gown. When I saw the Maggie Sottero Emilena it was a perfect mix of pearlescent satin and champagne lace. I loved the matching hair piece. As soon as I saw it I knew it was my perfect wedding dress.

What made your Astra Bridal experience special?: I had the pleasure of being looked after by Kirsty at the Wellington store. She made it such a pleasant and fun experience.  The service was great – as I live in Sydney I thought it easier to buy my dress there so I didn’t have to worry about travelling with it. I didn’t have to worry about a thing from start to finish.

Favourite wedding day moment:  It is so hard to pick one moment there were so many amazing ones! After all our post ceremony pictures had been taken and before we entered the reception, Ryan and I were alone for the first time since saying I do. We had a couple of minutes to take it all in and spend a moment together. It was special. Try and do this on your wedding day if you can!

Claudine is such a talented lady. Claudine did all our Makeup and my Hair and Jaz (also very talented) did the beautiful bridesmaids hair.  I could not have been in more professional hands on my wedding day. I simply showed them pics of the looks I was after and she recreated them. Our makeup was flawless and lasted the entire day (and the day was a hot one!)

Tarla’s creations are beautiful. She incorporated all my ideas and vision for my day into the perfect bouquets. Tarla is very thorough and full of good advice. She ensured our flower choices would not only look great but last the day. A lovely and very talented lady.
