The Fairy & The Prince In A Hand Built Chapel...

Ashlee & Mathew

Once upon a time, a beautiful fairy named Ashlee married a handsome prince; Mathew, in a chapel  built just in time for their wedding day...

Sounds like a made up fairy story right? WRONG! A fairytale wedding is definitely the feel we got from this amazing photo shoot, by the talented Dwayne Larson! The gorgeous Ashlee and the dashing Mathew chose to get married on his parents' farm in the Waikato, where they had a chapel built in time for their wedding day.

Ashlee wore Maggie Sottero's 'Griffyn' 2 piece gown, which she looked absolutely stunning in.

"I loved that it was a 2 piece, it was elegant with a twist and so comfortable."

"We were married at Matt's parents home; Huntingdon Farm, in Tamahere. We were so lucky, they built a beautiful chapel on their property that was ready in time for our wedding. Matt's Father Russ was also our marriage celebrant."

"We loved our ceremony, I couldn't wait to see Matt and then to look out and see all our friends and family, some who had travelled as far as Canada and Vienna to be there with us was such an honour."

"We wanted a simple but elegant setting, our location was so beautiful, we didn't feel it needed a lot..."

"Our band; The Get Down - Joe Mack, Simon Hirst, Brett Wilson and Tim Trenwith, were awesome, super easy to work with and had everyone up dancing till the very end."

" mum; Julie, did a cake decorating course just so she could make our wedding cake."
