A glamorously vintage wedding at Hedges Estate

Constance and Karl chose Hedges Estate for their wedding venue which was nothing short of STUNNING! This wedding had subtle vintage accents and all the charm of a southern estate wedding from America.

“Glamorous and vintage sums it up well! We wanted our guests to have a fun and relaxed day out in the country. Hedges Estate was the perfect venue for this!”

Constance chose Maggie Sottero’s ‘Greer’ gown, with its gold lace and vintage feel, it was absolutely perfect for this theme and venue. “I loved its vintage glamour and it was so comfortable to wear and move around in all day!”

The amazing and very on trend bouquets were created by Austin and Co and these beautiful images were captured by Lucy Rice Photography.

My bridesmaids and I stayed at ‘The Roost B&B’ the night before the wedding (and the night of, with our partners) and got ready there on the day. Linda went out of her way to make sure our stay was incredible and we had everything we could have wanted.

Tremaine Te Kira surprised everyone by performing the ‘Wero’ ritual; a ceremony challenge to Constance and Karl as honoured family members, which clearly blew everyone away!

“Having lots of flowers was really important to me and Chonny at Austin & Co. did the most amazing job with them!”

Karl and I learnt how to dance in the months leading up to our wedding at Counties Dance - and made lots of new friends!
