Rustic Russell Wedding

Tears at the ceremony | Astra Bride Jessica

Jessica & Emily

married at the Duke of Marlborough in Russell, Bay of Islands.  They chose the venue because of its beauty and it was the place of their first trip away together

Favourite part of the dress...

the sleeves.  I had the sleeves added but as soon as I knew we were getting married, I saw myself with lace sleeves, just being able to see the tattoos through all the lace.

Why did you choose your dress?

I felt beautiful - it felt right. My Astra Bridal experience was so special because of Dee 100% Dee!  I cried with this amazing lady, laughed with her and felt 100% comfortable with her amazing aura.  She is like the mother I never had!

Favourite Moment of the Day....

.... seeing each other at the aisle and the vows, they were us all over!

Advice to future Brides...

Don't worry or stress about what everyone else says or does, spend every minute in the moment because, before you know it, it's all over and you are wishing you could re-live it all!  After power cuts, fire drills and rain all we could do is look at each other and smile, because we had finally done it all and were married.

Congratulations Jessica and Emily - Mrs and Mrs
