Wairarapa Winter Wedding

Kate and Travis married, in a mid winter ceremony, at Peppers Parehua, Martinborough, Wairarapa on 24th June 2017.  The decor of the wedding was rustic/natural, wood, leaves, flowers and home made.

"We wanted our wedding to be relaxed and for it to feel warm (even if it was the middle of winter).  We wanted a beautiful ambiance with lighting and laughter.  Most importantly we wanted every aspect of our wedding to be smothered in love, we wanted everyone who came to know that Trav and I  were there because of some kind of contribution they made to us, big or small.  Our day was perfect and we wouldn't have changed a thing."

FAVOURITE PART OF THE GOWN

I knew exactly what I wanted!  I have never pictured myself in a strapless, figure hugging dress.  I had imagined long sleeves, high neck and floaty (I tried some but they looked terrible haha).  My consultant picked this strapless dress for me.  Mum had said keep an open mind so on it went and the tears flowed, my MOH and my Mum both burst into tears!  It was AMAZING - I didn't even know I could look like that - it curved my body perfectly and accented my bottom and waist.  I loved the lace, the beads, the scallop around the edge.  It was beautiful, the most perfect dress!!
